Troubleshooting
Calendar events aren't showing
Getting your Mac's calendar events to appear alongside tasks.
If your Apple Calendar events aren't appearing next to your tasks, it's almost always a permission or selection issue. See Calendar & Apple Calendar for the full setup.
First checks#
- Open Settings → Integrations → Apple Calendar and confirm Enable is on.
- Make sure at least one calendar is checked in the list. If none are selected, nothing shows.
- Remember events appear on Today, Tomorrow, Calendar and Upcoming — not inside projects or smart lists.
Grant calendar access#
Todebaran needs macOS permission to read your calendars. If it was denied — or turned off later — macOS controls that, not the app.
- Open System Settings → Privacy & Security → Calendars.
- Turn Todebaran on.
- Back in Settings → Integrations, the access prompt should clear. If not, toggle the integration off and on.
The integration is macOS only and read-only — Todebaran shows your events but never changes them. To edit an event, click it to open Apple Calendar.
Still not showing?#
- Confirm the events actually exist in Apple Calendar on this Mac for the day you're looking at.
- Events sync into Todebaran shortly after they change; give it a moment, or revisit the day.
- If it persists, contact support.
