Which platforms is Todebaran available on?＋
Todebaran is available for macOS today. Windows and Linux versions are coming soon, and native iPhone and Android apps are in development. Want to be notified? Join the newsletter in the footer.
What do I need to run it?＋
Todebaran runs on macOS 13 Ventura or later. Just download it and open the app — no account is needed to get started.
Is it really free?＋
Yes. The whole app is free to use. Todebaran Pro is an optional subscription that adds sync, custom themes, shared spaces and unlimited areas, projects, collections and smart lists. Pro comes with a 7-day free trial, once per account. Starting it asks for a card, nothing is charged while the trial runs, and it turns into a paid subscription afterwards unless you cancel before then — cancelling during the trial costs nothing. If your account has had a trial already, Pro is still available to subscribe to without one.
How does sync work?＋
Turn on sync (part of Pro) and your tasks stay in step across your devices automatically. Shared spaces let you collaborate with a team in the same space.
Which thermal printers are supported?＋
Todebaran prints slips to common ESC/POS thermal receipt printers — including popular Epson TM models — over network, USB or serial. The docs have the full list of compatible printers and setup help. If you run into a printer that doesn’t work, let us know and we’ll take a look.
How do I cancel or manage my subscription?＋
You can manage or cancel your Pro subscription any time from your account settings. If you cancel, you keep Pro features until the end of the current billing period.
