Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By installing or using Todebaran you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App. These Terms are entered into between you and Jakub Holub, with registered address at Vítkovice 378, 512 38, Czech Republic (Business ID / IČO: 04313135).

2. License to use the App

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your own task and project management, subject to these Terms. You may not resell, redistribute, reverse-engineer or attempt to extract the source code except as permitted by law.

3. Accounts

Some features (such as sync and shared spaces) require an account. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.

4. Subscriptions & billing

Todebaran is free to use. Todebaran Pro is an optional paid subscription that unlocks sync, custom themes, shared spaces and unlimited areas, projects, collections and smart lists.

• Pro is offered with a 7-day free trial, once per customer. A valid payment method is required to start the trial; nothing is charged while it runs, and cancelling before it ends costs nothing. If your account has already had a trial — including one that was cancelled — Pro is available to subscribe to without one.
• After the trial, the subscription starts and then renews automatically at the then-current price shown at checkout (currently €3.00/month or €30.00/year, localized to your region) unless cancelled beforehand.
• Billing is handled by RevenueCat, and their terms also apply.
• Refunds are governed by our cancellation policy — you can cancel at any time to stop future renewals, and amounts already paid for the current billing period are non-refundable — and applicable consumer law.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the App to break the law, infringe others’ rights, or disrupt the service. In shared spaces, you are responsible for the content you contribute and for having the right to share it.

6. Your content

You keep all rights to the tasks, notes and other content you create. You grant us only the limited rights needed to operate the service for you — for example, to store and sync your data across your devices.

7. Disclaimer & limitation of liability

The App is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us for the App in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the liability. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the App or by email. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
