Daily notes
A short journal attached to each day.
Alongside your tasks, each day has room for a note — a small journal for how the day went, what you're planning, or anything worth remembering against that date. There's exactly one note per day, and it stays with the day forever.
Writing a note#
On Today, Tomorrow, or any day in the Calendar, use Add Note to start writing. Notes are rich text, so you can format them like any other note in Todebaran. What you write is saved to that specific date.
Looking back#
To revisit an earlier day's note, open the Calendar and move to that date on the day timeline — its note is right there with that day's tasks. Your notes build up into a quiet log of your days over time.
Ideas#
- A one-line log of what you got done.
- Your intentions or focus for the day.
- Notes from a standup or a daily review.
A daily note belongs to a date, not to a task or project. For notes about a specific piece of work, use the task's own note (⌘J) or a collection.
